Paint: master bedroom remodeling (part #1)

We finally decided to toggle the master bedroom, but for real this time. I started painting our pello chair, but for the next project I needed some extra help from my husband Daniele.

Here is a picture of our master bedroom, when we moved to our new house this past July (with of course our cat Gedeone…or Kitty G)

We decided we wanted to paint the back wall a different color, and we picked a nice grey, to be specific Grey-Behr – Anonymous. More, we wanted to spice up our old Ikea Malm bed, painting it white, like I already did with the chair. In the mean time we ordered two nightstands and a dresser from cb2, they are not here  yet, but I’ll keep you posted.

So here is some prep for the room

Let’s start painting….(it looks like Daniele is doing everything…but I did work too!)

And here is the finished wall, after 2 coats of paint.

Then, while Daniele went to the gym, (let’s say it…) I started painting the bed and two of the frames we used to have over our bed in white. Here is our IKEA Malm bed before. Oh, right. I sanded it as well.

and here it is after

And finally the whole room is ready…almost, we still need the rest of the furniture.
